Sisterhood & Brotherhood

Community-Driven Support & Empowerment

Our project is dedicated to supporting and empowering local people through workshops and community-building activities.

Sisterhood: Empowering Women
Offering workshops in Braunstone, Blaby, and Shepshed, we focus on boosting confidence, self-expression, and providing the additional support women need. Led by an Artist Therapist, Coaches, and other experts, these sessions are designed to help women thrive.

Brotherhood  at Shepshed
We provide a welcoming, non-stigmatizing environment for men in Shepshed, helping them combat loneliness, develop new skills, and build connections. Led by a Wellbeing Practitioner and Artist, this program encourages personal growth and community involvement.

Our ultimate aim is to create self-sustaining community groups that offer ongoing peer support, expanding the project's reach and long-term impact.

Planning for a better future.

1. How could things be better?
2. What are the potential consequences if changes aren’t made?
3. What differences will I experience once the change is made?
4. What will I no longer be doing?
5. What will I be doing instead?
6. What are the steps I can take to feel in control?
7. What assumptions am I making about the change?
8. What would be a helpful assumption to make?
9. What support do I need? How will I feel after the change?
10. What have I learned from previous changes?
11. What is the most important thing I should do first?
12. What challenges could I face?
13. How could I overcome these challenges?

Mini world activity
Step 1:
Using any LEGO bricks or similar building materials you have at home, build your own "mini world." Let your imagination guide you as you design a place that's meaningful to you.

Step 2:
Once your mini world is complete, take a moment to reflect on it. Use the following questions to explore and share your creation:

What are the most important features of your mini world, and why did you include them?
Who lives in your world, and how do they make it unique?
What values or principles is your world built upon?
Step 3:
Close your eyes and imagine that some magic happened overnight, transforming your mini world. Now, consider these questions:

What magical changes have occurred, and how do they make your world even better?
How do these changes impact the lives of the inhabitants and enhance the harmony of your world?
Optional Sharing:
If you'd like, take a photo of your mini world or write a short description of it, including the changes you imagined. Share it with a friend or family member, or even reflect privately to deepen your creative experience.

This activity is perfect for a quiet, self-led moment of creativity and reflection!
